Upcoming Events (March)
PEHP Healthy Utah on campus March 18-19
PEHP Healthy Utah will be on campus Monday & Tuesday, March 18-19, from 9 am - 4 pm for health screenings/testing. Employees can register to participate in PEHP Healthy Utah Online through their PEHP member account (https://www.pehp.org/MyPehp/Account/LogOn) under the "My Health" tab. Remember, testing is free; attending the PEHP Healthy Utah testing and inputting your results at least once a year qualifies you for a $50 rebate from PEHP.
PEHP on campus March 21
Justin Seal (PEHP) will be on campus Thursday, March 21, from 1 - 3 pm, to answer any questions you have regarding medical claims, creating an online PEHP account, online account features, supplemental benefits available through PEHP such as wellness incentives, etc. He will be available in Burns North Offices, Room 152; no appointments are necessary.
EMI Health on campus March 26
Shawn Park (EMI Health) will be on campus Tuesday, March 26 from 9 - 11 am to answer any questions you have regarding dental claims, creating an online EMI Health account, online account features (including their mobile app), etc. He will be available in Burns North Offices, Room 152; no appointments are necessary.
TIAA on campus April 3 & 4
Domingo Belen from TIAA will not be on campus in March, but will return to campus on April 3 & 4. In March, TIAA is conducting a financial essential webinar that you might be interested, details here. If you would like to meet with Domingo in April, please click here to schedule an appointment. Benefits Presentations April 2 & 4
Mark your calendars for two benefits presentations on campus in early April.
- PEHP's Semiannual training on its Medicare Supplement Plan on Tuesday, April 2, from 2:00 - 3:00 in the Taylor Health Sciences Auditorium (room 156). PEHP will facilitate this training and it's a great way to learn about PEHP's Medicare supplement plan available to DSU employees & their spouses.
- An Introduction to Medicare & Social Security Seminar on Thursday, April 4, from 1:30-3:00 pm in the Zion Room. See here for details. We have invited great speakers from Enroll365 to provide employees (and their spouse and/or family members) information about how these two government programs work, standard and special enrollment periods, etc. Light refreshments will be served; please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending so we have an accurate count for food.

New Online/Phone On-Demand Doctor Visits
We also wanted to highlight a recent enhancement of the University’s medical plan. PEHP has partnered with Amwell to provide live, on-demand doctor visits online or by phone (telemedicine) under our medical plan. Copays are only $10 (less than a primary care visit copay) and available 24/7. To learn more about this resource and the commonly treated conditions under this benefit, go online to https://amwell.com or download the app and sign up for the service. As part of the sign up, you will need to enter your PEHP ID (found on your insurance card) and enter “PEHP” as the service key so you get the $10 co-pay.
Electronic I-9s and E-Verify
We are excited to announce that Dixie State University now has electronic I-9's and E-Verify! The federal form I-9 has been required of new employees since 1986 and must be completed within 3 days of employment. E-Verify is an Internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows employers to verify the employment eligibility of their employees, regardless of citizenship. Based on the information provided on the Form I-9 from each employee, E-Verify checks this information electronically against records contained in DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) databases.
