Dixie State University offers three medical plans through Public Employees Health Plan (PEHP).  Advantage Care or Summit Care are the two PEHP plans available.

ADVANTAGE CARE SUMMIT CARE
The PEHP Advantage Care network of contracted providers consists of predominantly Intermountain Healthcare (IHC) providers and facilities. It includes 34 participating hospitals and more than 7,500 participating providers. The PEHP Summit Care network of contracted providers consists of predominantly IASIS, MountainStar, and University of Utah hospitals & clinics providers and facilities. It includes 38 participating hospitals and more than 7,500 participating providers.

Coverage Out of State
If you or your dependents are living out-of-state, there are two important steps. PEHP will need to be given the name and address of the member living out-of-state so they can make sure those claims are paid correctly. Send a secure email with this information to PEHP Enrollment by logging into your account at www.pehp.org and clicking on the message icon at the top right hand side of the home page. Second, be sure to use the out-of-state network (this is where the link should be) so you can get the best discounts and pay the lowest costs. Check the back of your PEHP benefit card for more information or call 801-366-7755.

myWellness Tracker

PEHP is excited to offer myWellness Tracker to employers, an all-new wellness tracking program to help members create or maintain healthy habits – and get rewarded for it. Based on the WellRight digital platform, PEHP members can create fun and engaging health and wellness challenges. This program is offered in addition to Healthy Utah, giving members an opportunity to earn more. Learn more.

Customer Service Department Changes Name to Health Benefits Department

PEHP customer service representatives are now called Health Benefits Advisors. This change in title better reflects the duties of our customer service staff who receive nearly 300,000 calls a year. Health Benefits Advisors not only answer questions about PEHP plans, they also help members navigate the healthcare system and make recommendations to help them maximize their benefits. Call us at 801-366-7555 or 800-753-7490. We’re available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For fastest service and to avoid our peak call times, contact PEHP in the morning before 11:00 a.m., the afternoon between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., or on a Thursday or Friday. Mondays and Tuesdays experience the highest volume of calls.
