TIAA Rep Visit July 13th, 14th, and 15th
Marty Jaspers (TIAA) will be on-campus Wednesday & Friday, July 13th, 14th and 15th, for one-on-one consultations. Meetings with Marty will take place in Burns North Room 152 on Wednesday and Thursday. Marty will be in Udvar-Hazy room 308 on Friday; please click here to schedule an appointment.

PEHP Rep Visit Monday, July 18th, from 1 – 3 pm
Justin Seal (PEHP) will be on campus Monday, July 18th, from 1 – 3 pm to answer any questions you have regarding claims, creating an online PEHP account, online account features, supplemental benefits available through PEHP such as wellness incentives, etc. He will be available in Burns North Room 152; no appointments are necessary.
In addition to Justin’s campus visit, he will also be doing campus presentations this month on Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Plans available through PEHP. These Medicare presentations will be on Tuesday, July 19th, from 10 – 11 am and 2 – 3 pm in the Browning Building Dunford Auditorium. If you are unable to attend, PEHP will also be doing these presentations again during the fall semester.
New Online/Phone On-Demand Doctor Visits
We also wanted to highlight a recent enhancement of the University’s medical plan. PEHP has partnered with Amwell to provide live, on-demand doctor visits online or by phone (telemedicine) under our medical plan. Copays are only $10 (less than a primary care visit copay) and available 24/7. To learn more about this resource and the commonly treated conditions under this benefit, go online to https://amwell.com or download the app and sign up for the service. As part of the sign up, you will need to enter your PEHP ID (found on your insurance card) and enter “PEHP” as the service key so you get the $10 co-pay.
Electronic I-9s and E-Verify
We are excited to announce that Dixie State University now has electronic I-9’s and E-Verify! The federal form I-9 has been required of new employees since 1986 and must be completed within 3 days of employment. E-Verify is an Internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows employers to verify the employment eligibility of their employees, regardless of citizenship. Based on the information provided on the Form I-9 from each employee, E-Verify checks this information electronically against records contained in DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) databases.
